This line of HA fillers uses a special technology, that combines only 10% of the normal amount of high weight Hyaluronic acid molecules, with another 90% of low weight ones. With a special 3D matrix structure of the crosslinked HA, this turns a filler with “only” 20mg/ml HA concentration into the most reliable volume restoration product on the market. When compared to the Ultra series, Voluma is notably thicker and has even better volume restoring properties.

What does the package of Juvederm Voluma include?
The dermal filler comes ready to be used, including:
- Two pre-filled syringe of HA gel, 1ml each
- 23G needle with ultra-thin walls
- 18G/80mm cannula, for deep SubQ injection
The actual application (which should always be done by a trained doctor) takes less than half an hour. The filer contains Lidocaine and has a very smooth texture, so pain is not an issue for the patient. Results can be expected to last over a year, depending on the patient’s metabolism and other factors.
